The meeting house at 114 rue de Vaugirard was sold in 2020. Pending the acquisition of new premises, Paris-region Friends have found a warm welcome at the “Defap” Protestant Mission, 102 Boulevard Arago, Paris 14th. See below for directions.
With the exception of the third Sunday of each month, and subject to restrictions imposed due to the COVID19 pandemic, we will be maintaining our weekly Meetings for Worship at the above address.
However, Quakers who do not feel able to attend these in-person Meetings may take part in the weekly online “Zoom” gatherings, along with other Friends throughout France.
On the third Sunday of each month (ie on March 21 and April 18), there is currently no Meeting for Worship in Paris. Everyone is invited to take part in the online gatherings.
Online Meetings for Worship
In-Person Meetings in Paris
Unless new confinement measures are brought in by the French Government, the next Meetings for Worship at the Paris Protestant Mission will be on March 7, 14 and 28, from 11 to 12 am.
There’s tea and coffee afterwards for those who wish to stay. For practical details, including the code required to get through the building’s two entrance doors, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org
While ministry is generally in French, interventions in English are welcome and will usually be translated.
On Sunday March 21, Paris-region Quakers are invited to join in the weekly Zoom gatherings organised nationally (see above). There will be no Meeting in Paris on that day.
